PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy paste electrode which is capable of low linkage of supports, easily handleable, enhances the high-rate discharging characteristic of the electrode, and increases the capacity of the electrode. SOLUTION: In a hydrogen storage alloy paste electrode formed by the application to a conductive core of a paste composed chiefly of hydrogen storage alloy powders 1, the surface layer of the conductive core is made at least from copper, and after application of the paste the particles of the hydrogen storage alloy powders are allowed into the conductive core by pressurization. |
