PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of delay of a steering assist without hurting the component element of the driving circuit of an electric actuator, and to improve the steering feeling, in a power steering device furnished with a hydraulic actuator to generate the steering assist force by the pressure oil from a pump which is driven by the electric actuator. SOLUTION: When the speed of a pump 37 is reduced to a waiting speed when a steering assist releasing condition is satisfied, as well as it is increased to a steering assist speed when a steering assist condition is satisfied, by an electric actuator, the limit value of the current flowing in the electric actuator 50 is made larger, in the initial stage of the steering assist from the speed increasing starting time of the electric actuator 50 by satisfying the steering assist condition, to the passing time of a set time, than the value before and after the initial stage of the steering assist. |
