PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain line termination processing such as the rounding of the shape of a line end by selecting a desired 2nd drawing pattern out of 2nd drawing patterns as end points of a rule line and putting the selected 2nd drawing pattern and a 1st drawing pattern in one together. SOLUTION: When a 'modification ruled-line pattern registration instruction' is issued, memory capacity required for pattern storage is calculated from the width and height of a registered pattern specified with parameters and a memory block having capacity obtained by adding a value required to store a header part such as width and height information to the calculated memory capacity is acquired in a RAM 42. Further, the head address of the memory block is written at the entry position of a prepared registration table corresponding to a modification ruled-line pattern number. Then the start position and end position of a 'modification ruled-line start instruction' is registered with a 'line termination pattern registration instruction'. Then when a 'modification ruled-line start instruction' specifying the start of actual drawing is issued, a modification ruled line is drawn between ruled-line start and end positions specified by using the modification ruled-line pattern and line end pattern. |
