PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a crystal fork type oscillation gyro at low cost by simplifying the detection electrode and drive electrode as compared with a conventional crystal fork type oscillation gyro. SOLUTION: The crystal fork type oscillation gyro element is provided with split detection electrodes 6a, 6b and 7a, 7b along the Y'-axis on one Y'-X face of left and right arms defined by the Y'-X and Y'-Z' faces of the crystal axis of a quartz and drive electrodes 8, 9, 10 and 11, 12, 13 on the remaining faces. This structure realizes a small crystal fork type oscillation gyro at low cost. |
