<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross connection circuit and a terminal station equipment using it for reducing signal propagation delay, reducing a memory amount required for cross connection, reducing a circuit scale and preventing information omission by contention from being generated even in an ATM equipment or the like. SOLUTION: STM-1 input signals IN#1-IN#n are passed through STM-1 reception parts 1-1 to 1-n, demultiplexed into AU-3 data in 1:3 demultiplex circuits 9-1 to 9-n are converted to packets in packet assembly circuits 10-1 to 10-n. The packets are distributed to packet disassembly circuits 13-1 to 13-m corresponding to the address of a transmission destination decided by a control part 12 beforehand by a switching part 11. Then, data are extracted by the inverse method of packet making and assembled into an STM-1 frame structure in a 3:1 multiplex circuit and STM-1 output signals OUT#1 to OUT#m are outputted through STM-1 transmission parts 3-1 to 3-m.</p> |
