PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a roof improvement structure, to which a snow melting function is to be added when improvement is made, store a conductive wire for leading electric current to a sheet type heating unit containing a heating functiong in the verge part of a roof and finish the exterior view beautifully as well as to make wiring work facilely. SOLUTION: A cavity L for leading a conductive wire M is composed of a lower part material H of a long and flat shape arranged on the end of a gable of a existing roof, an outside member I of rectangular cross section and lengthy body arranged on the outer end above the lower part material H in parallel to the flow direction, an inner member J, which has the same configuration as the outer member I arranged near the inward end above the lower material H in parallel to the lower part material H and has holes provided in specific places for passing lead wires through specific places, and an upper member K which is placed on the top of the outer member I and the inner member J and has about the same configuration as the lower part material H. A lead wire for a sheet type heating unit S is arranged between a backing material R, which becomes the backing of a step tiled new roof material T, and the new roof material T is connected to the conductive wire M by running it through the hole on the inner member J and a positioning plate G, the lower part material H, the outer member I, the inner member J and the upper member K are hiden from the exterior view by a verge material N composed of two members, a decorative body O and a verge cover. |
