<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent transfer property, long service life in a developer, and accurate reproducibility of an initial image even when a toner is used for a long time by preparing a toner by pulverizing method in such a manner that the roughness degree of the toner surface satisfies a specified value. SOLUTION: This electrostatic charge image developing toner contains such a toner produced by pulverizing method that satisfies the value of average SF1 (SF1)>=0.89, wherein SF1 is the roughness degree of the toner surface defined by (SF1) = (envelope length of toner)/(peripheral length of toner). The envelope length PMH of a toner means the peripheral length of a toner particle 1 shown as a broken line in the figure when projections of the toner particle are connected with lines to make shortest distance. The peripheral length PM of the toner is the peripheral length shown as a solid line in the figure. The toner produced by pulverizing method to satisfy the value of SF1>=0.89 has a good transfer efficiency and gives an image of high reproducibility equal to an image of an initial stage even when the toner is continuously used.</p> |
