<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and easily inhibit the solid-liq. separation fault of sludge in a solid-liq. separation fault inhibitor soln. used to inhibit the solid-liq. separation fault of activated sludge such as bulking in an activated sludge treating system by incorporating an aminoglucoside-base antibiotic. SOLUTION: Hyphomycetes such as sphaerotilus is propagated and filiform bulking is caused due to the properties of raw water and various treating conditions, and the separation of sludge becomes difficult. A material prepared by incorporating an aminoglucoside-base antibiotic is used as the solid-liq. separation fault inhibitor for selectively sterilizing hyphomycetes and actinomycetes in a short time to inhibit bulking. An antibiotic having a glycoside structure of the sugar or the condensed sugar such as cyclitol and aminocyclitol and amino sugar is used as the aminoglucoside-base antibiotic, and streptomycin and kanamycin are exemplified.</p> |
