A photographic colour material for the silver dye-bleach process comprises two silver halide emulsion layers containing dyestuff bleachable in the said process by metallic silver and a layer free from said dyestuffs and silver halide which contains a dyestuff bleaching catalyst free from acid groups imparting solubility in water and containing at least one basic nitrogen atom e. g. catalysts of the formula:- where R is aryl, alkyl, cycloalkyl or a heterocyclic group such as furanyl or together complete a fused on carbocyclic ring. The group R may contain alkyl, alkoxy or halogen substituents. The catalyst may be in a separating layer or a yellow filter layer.
