PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily decide the border between a 'family name' and a 'second name' and make a beautiful print by the printer which is mounted on, for example, a word processor and utilized to print an address on a post card or envelope. SOLUTION: Print coordinates of characters of the 'family name' of 'Aikawa' and 'second name' of 'Mayumi' constituting name data 'Mayumi Aikawa', and honorific title data of 'Sama' added to the name data are calculated as tentative coordinates of equal allocation so that the characters are arranged and printed at equal intervals in a receiver's name area A2 set in, for example, format data for post card longitudinal printing. Then the section between the 'family name' and 'second name' of the name data is recognized on the basis of section data '/' interposed between the both, and the tentative print coordinates by the characters are corrected so that the respective character intervals of the 'family name', 'second name', and honorific title data are made much more distinctive from other character intervals, thereby printing the name on a post card. |
