PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide medium structure fit for the in-recording verifying action of a phase change type optical disk. SOLUTION: A 1st protective film 2, an information recording film 3, a 2nd protective film 4 and a reflecting film 5 are laminated on a transparent substrate 1 and the top of the reflecting film 5 is coated with a UV-curing resin 6 for protection to obtain the objective optical information recording medium. This recording medium utilizes a reversible phase change between crystal and amorphous phases and records, reproduces or erases information by a change of the phase state of the recording film 3 by irradiation with laser light. The reflectance of the recording film 3 in a crystal state is different from that in a molten state and the reflectance of the recording film 3 in an amorphous state is different from that in a molten state. |
