PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reverse the direction of a moving body freely while grasping an obliquely installed protrusion. SOLUTION: A movement apparatus is provided with a moving body 1 which is moved while an obliquely installed protrusion 21 coming into contact with a running face is vibrated and with a control means 7 which drives the moving body. The moving body 1 is provided with a driving piece 2 comprising oblique hairs 201 and with a main body 6 comprising an electromagnet 3 which vibrates the driving piece. In the driving piece 2, the oblique hairs 201 are supported by the body 6 so as to be capable of being vibrated to an advance direction. The control means 7 selectively generates a high-frequency signal and a low-frequency signal which drive the electromagnet 3. The moving body 1 is moved to a forward direction (f) due to the friction anisotropy of the oblique hairs 201 by the high-frequency signal, and it is moved to an opposite direction (b) due to the inertial impulsive force of the body 6. When the high-frequency signal and the low-frequency signal are selected, the advance direction of the moving body 1 can be changed over between the forward direction (f) and the opposite direction (b). |
