PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving material which has high adherence between a resin base material and an accepting layer, does not generate bleed and discoloration of images, and is scarcely curled. SOLUTION: A thermal transfer image receiving material is used in combination with a coloring matter donating material having a coloring matter which migrates with heat and has an accepting layer which accepts the coloring matter which migrates with heat. On a resin base material, the accepting layer which is formed of a homopolymer of vinyl chloride, a copolymer of vinyl chloride, or a resin composition which is selected from a blend of a vinyl chloride resin and other resin by melt extrusion lamination is provided. In the case that the resin base material is of polyester film, when a side of the laminating face of the film with a melt extrusion film of a vinyl chloride resin composition is treated for discharge or with flame, the adherence between the polyester film and the vinyl chloride resin composition film is improved. |
