The present invention relates to a method and a device for guiding a passenger bridge for moving a first end thereof to a desired position by pivoting the passenger bridge about its second end and changing the length of the passenger bridge by means of a wheel-mounted supporting device, the passenger bridge having at the first end an end portion which is pivotable in relation to the longitudinal axis of the passenger bridge.
