<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the consumption of the metallic material of the part functioned to be mounted at a shaft, to assure the strength to withstand heavy impact at the time of hitting a ball and to allow the easy injection of a raw material into the hollow of a head body. SOLUTION: The golf club head constituted by integrally forming the head body 1 and a hosel 2 for mounting the shaft with the metallic material is provided with a stopper 5 which exists to intersect with the extension line of the axial line of this hosel 2 in the head body 1, exists nearer a sole 4 upper than the sole 4 and accepts the front end of the shaft inserted into the head body from the hosel 2. An opening 7 making the inside of the head body 1 communicate with the inside of the hosel 2 is disposed between this stopper 5 and the inside wall of the crown part 6 of the head body 1.</p> |
