The patent application relates to a traditional Finnish sauna stove. In the hearth of the sauna stove according to the application there is a mountable and adjustable intermediate plate, which, together with a pipe in the stones-heating region, forms a separate hearth. The pipe or a series of pipes extends obliquely upwards towards the flue from that end of the sauna stove facing the fill opening. The problem of adjusting the temperature of the stones and flue gas is resolved according to the invention in the above-stated manner. <IMAGE>
