The invention concerns a sliding gate for an enclosure around a plot of land, the sliding gate comprising a rail (1) which can be anchored to the ground, and a wall which is movable along the rail and is solid or is formed by a grille. The rail (1) has a guide profile suitable for absorbing horizontal and vertical forces and forms an interlocking guide system for one or a plurality of carriages (2) mounted on the rail. Each carriage (2) carries an upright post (3) on which the movable wall is supported. The movable wall is a flexible strip (4) which, when the gate is opened, can be moved out of the gate plane and wound up onto a roller. |
