<p>To improve the efficiency of a device for sorting despatches having a sorting conveyor via which the despatches are transferred to collective containers arranged at transfer points along a conveyor track, it is proposed to use a transfer device by means of which collective containers are transferred between the transfer points and a predetermined conveyor track in response to transfer signals indicating a transfer point and issued by a control device.</p> |
