The barrier fence consists of a mast (1) extendable in length and two supports (6) joined to the mast. The mast is joined to the supports in the upper region of the supports by a joint (4). At least one of the supports has a device which permits an adjustment in length (12). The stands are made from a metal rectangular frame (3) and the mast and the supports are flexibly attached to the frame.
