Double damping flywheel for motor vehicles

The damping flywheel consists of a first circular mass (12) which can be fixed to a primary shaft (24). The flywheel further comprises a rotary second circular mass (14) which is coaxial to the first mass. The second circular mass has a first part (64) which is rotatably mounted on the first circular mass. There is an elastic part (32) which is swivelably positioned on the first mass. The second circular mass has a second part (66) which is rotatably fitted to the first part, and forms the driven plate (84) of the friction clutch. The flywheel has frictionally engaged moment limiter (98) arranged between the first and second parts (64,66) of the second circular mass. The moment limiter consists of an annular friction disc.
