The roof structure (2) is made up of copper sheet sections (4) with the folded joints (5) distributed in a pattern over the entire surface of the roof. Each joint is formed using a spreader wedge (6) and a tensioning piece (8). The wedge acts on the sheet surface above the formwork (3) which determines the shape of the roof, and an array of joints (14) is created on the underside.
