The sensor has a magnet ring and an electric ring coil, each arranged concentrically to the rotational axis of the component. The magnetic flux guide system consists of two ring shaped metal sheet parts (6,7), each having the same number of magnetic flux conducting pieces (6a,6b,7a). The magnetic flux conducting pieces of the two metal sheet parts, in an alternative arrangement, surround the component axis of rotation concentrically, in such a manner that the magnetic flux conducting pieces (6a,6b) of one of a sheet metal part (6), of the ring coil (4) and the magnet ring (1), are allocated in a manner assisting the magnetic flux. The magnetic flux conducting pieces (7b,7c) of the other sheet metal part (7) of the ring coil and the magnet ring, are allocated in a manner, damping the magnetic flux.
