<p>A process for producing an optic lens which comprises mixing a monomer component for an optic lens with an organic solvent (I) in which the monomer component is soluble, pouring the obtained mixture into a mold in the shape of the desired optic lens, effecting polymerization to thereby prepare a polymer, immersing the polymer taken out of the mold in a water-soluble organic solvent (II) compatible with the organic solvent (I), and then subjecting the polymer to hydration; and an optic lens which is obtained by this process and highly excellent particularly in transparency.</p> |
