A lock (26) comprises a body (2a) provided with an aperture (30). A bolt (31) is moveable between a closed position in which it extends into the aperture (30) and an open position in which it is at least partially retracted from the aperture (30). The bolt (31) carries an integral locking mechanism (31a) which operates a releasable locking member (33).
