An emulsion-type adhesive composition and a method for preparing and using the composition are described, wherein the composition comprises a liquid containing one or more emulsion bonding agents, and further contains a plurality of inclusions of material, each having one or more hollow recesses for receiving each a fraction of the emulsion liquid, said inclusions being introduced into the emulsion shortly before its use and being substantially homogeneously distributed therein.
