Sweeping mechanism for abrasive cleaner

The mechanism has at least one sweeping band (11) comprising an endless line of bristles (23) revolving between two guide rollers (21). The guide rollers may move across to change the swept width. A further drive roller (27) is engaged with the endless line. This roller does not move across with the others, but remains in contact with the line regardless of the line's position.
