Cleaning and polishing roller for roller cleaning machine

Surfaces are cleaned and polished using a roller (1) with a cylindrical roller body (5) which is fitted in a roller cleaning machine with at least one rotating roller. The cylindrical surface of the roller body is coated at least partially with a hard, felt - like nylon or polyester material pad (trade name 'SUPERPAD'). When the roller body is rotated about its longitudinal axis, strips of deposits on smooth surfaces are removed. The coating is pref. applied as discs, which are positioned next to each other on the roller body and are adhesively bonded to it.
