<p>A description is given of a process for recycling bonded fabrics containing plastic, shredded bonded fabrics being compacted, granulated and subsequently kneaded in a twin-screw extruder, before virgin material is added. The material thus obtained is homogenised and subsequently extruded from the twin-screw extruder. The recycled material obtained in this way can be added once again to a bonded fabric containing plastic.</p>
