Primer composition

A primer composition comprises (A) an organosilicon compound of the general formula (1) <CHEM> wherein R is C1-C6 alkylene, R<1> is a divalent hydrocarbon group having at least 4 carbon atoms, each R<2>, which may be the same or different, is an unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, a is 0 or 1 and b is 0, 1, 2 or 3, (B) a condensation catalyst for the organosilicon compound, and, optionally, (C) an organopolysiloxane resin.
