Efficiency of the action of a liq., e.g. fuel combustion, watering of plants, etc., is varied with the aid of a unit in which liq. passes through two parallel channels (4,5) which open into a common outflow (3), in which the liq. is combined and mixed together. Pref. the channels are of insulating material and may be in the form of longitudinal bores in a bar of insulating material. Pref., the inlet (2) is connected to a fuel tank and the outflow is connected to an internal combustion engine.
