The insulation fixing device is for a wagon with a structure of extruded strips (1) with insulation on the internal or external surfaces. There is a carrier system (3) extending over the internal or external surfaces of the wagon box, composed of longitudinal (4) and transverse (5) strips and closing strips (6) where necessary. This system carries the insulation (7) and can be attached as required to elements of the inner lining or outer cladding. The carrier system itself may consist of thermal and/or acoustic insulating material.
