Hot runner nozzle for plastics injection mould

Molten plastic is injected into a mould using a hot runner nozzle with a tip (4) surrounding a melt channel (7) in which an inner body (9) which consists of a single spiral (10) is attached to a calibrating tip (11). The spiral is supported at its periphery on the inside wall (6) of the nozzle tip. Pref. the spiral extends in the cross section of the inner body about an angle of 180 deg max., partic. over an angle of about 60 deg . The spiral and calibrating tip are pref. in one piece an the spiral is soldered to the nozzle wall.
