The spring damper arrangement has an elastomeric spring element (8) which has hollow chambers (12) running coaxially with the working cylinder (1). Damping holes (13) run parallel to the damping chambers. The damping holes can be partly filled with a damping fluid. Depending on the spring movement of the device, a pumping action takes place via a narrowing and an enlarging of the hollow chambers and the damping holes.
