PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of inspection and cleaning by closing an inspection opening of a duct laid out on a kitchen ceiling, installing a removable abutting board which forms the ceiling of kitchen room,and providing a recessed oil sump and an oil drain which can be opened and closed freely. CONSTITUTION:A thumbscrew 32 is removed from a kitchen room 12 in the case of inspection and cleaning inside a duct 10, then an abutting board 20 is lifted up and hooks 20C and 20D are removed from a stopper 24B of a bracket 24. Then, the abutting board 20 is slanted and pulled out from an opening 26 of a duct main body 18 to the side of the kitchen room 12. Since the abutting board 20 comprises a part of a ceiling board 14, the interior of the duct 10 can be inspected and cleaned directly from the kitchen room 12. The oil and the like contained in the exhaust air are adhered on the duct 10 and the oil is partially deposited on oil sumps 25A and 25B. The oil can be extracted and disposed of from the duct 10 by removing a cap 38 from a threaded portion 37C of a pipe member 37 at a regular interval. |
