Soft tissue products such as bath tissue comprise one or more uncreped throughdried tissue plies having a machine direction stiffness in accordance with either of the following parameters: a) the maximum slope of the load elongation curve measured in units of kilograms per 7.62 cms (3 inches) is 10 or less or b) the stiffness factor is 150 or less, where the stiffness factor is the product of the maximum slope as in a) and the square root of the caliper per ply. |
