A data managing system for a production line in which a plurality of separated assembly lines (I, II) are connected together by a conveying pallet (6). Both an assembly pallet (40) and the conveying pallet (6) are provided with a data storage member (43, 7), the inspection result at each inspection station (3) is stored in the data storage member attached (43) on the assembly pallet (40), and the data stored in the data storage member (43) attached on the assembly pallet (40) is transferred into the storage member (7) provided at the conveying pallet (6) at the work removing station (5).
