<p>An instrument (1) for detecting an electric biological signal, and wherein a pocket casing (2) housing an electronic circuit (3) presents a rectangular wall (4) fitted with two flat electrodes (7, 8) and a display (5). The electronic circuit (3) includes an amplifier stage (17) wherein a first operational amplifier (30) communicates at the input with a first electric line (13) receiving a first electric signal (L) picked up from a first portion of the human body, and a second operational amplifier (31) communicates at the input with a second electric line (14) receiving a second electric signal (R) picked up from a second portion of the human body. An inverting amplifier (45) receives a signal equal to the average of the output signals of the first and second operational amplifiers (30, 31), and is connected at the output to a signal divider (46) for supplying the signal at the output of the inverting amplifier (45) to the first and second electric lines (13, 14). The user of the instrument (1) grips the casing (2) and places the left and right thumbs on the electrodes (7, 8) to establish electrical connection between the body of the user and the electronic circuit (3). <IMAGE> <IMAGE></p> |
