PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately read out a multi-stage bar code by a simple mechanism by irradiating the multi-stage bar code with light emitted from a light emitting element, reflecting the light reflected on each bar code by the plane mirror while adjusting the angle of a plane mirror body by a reciprocating rotary means, converging the reflected light by a converging lens, and transducing the converged light into an electric signal. SOLUTION: The light reflected on the plane mirror body 13 is subjected to angle adjustment by a reciprocating rotation motor 14 is converged by the convex converging lens 15 so that reflected light reflected correspodingly to a bar code 1a can be received by the CCD 12, then is cast on a CCD 12, thereby the reflected light is received by the CCD 12 and transduced into an electric signal. Similarly, the set angle of the mirror body 13 is rotationally adjusted by the motor 14 so that reflected light reflected correspondingly to a bar code 1b can be received by the CCD, the CCD 12 is irradiated with the reflected light reflected on the mirror body 13 through the lens 15 and the reflected light is received by the CCD 12 and converted into an electric signal. As for bar codes 1c, 1d, similar processings are executed. |
