PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which prevents color slurring means of a simple structure. SOLUTION: An intermediate transfer body 11 is driven, via a reduction gear train 28A and intermediate gear 44, by a main motor 12. The ratio of the reduction gear to one rotation of the main motor 12 is set to an integer number of teeth, and the ratio of the time TM required for the intermediate transfer body 11 makes one rotation to the time TS required for a polygon mirror makes one rotation is K=TM/TS = approximately an integer. Therefore, an image free from slurring can be formed in multicolor superimposition. |
