PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sense flaw at a bottle mouth accurately and simply by lessening ultimately the image information other than about flaws, and subjecting the flaw existing on the top surface or the side of threaded part to an image processing with one-plate input image. SOLUTION: An illuminating light source 5 is installed down aslant the side of a threaded part, i.e., in the neighborhood of the body 1 of a bottle. A camera 10 is installed in a position where no directly transmitted light of the irradiated light from the light source is incident on the camera and which is apart from the top surface 2 in the vertical direction, and thereby it is possible to extract only the flaw part by the diffused light in the form of a luminescent spot image. |
