PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to cleanly process even a work piece having a large thickness or consisting of a hardly workable material with a laser beam machine. SOLUTION: The number of processing times to repeat laser beam processing is previously stored in a RAM 112, etc. The number of the processing times inputted from a control panel 104 by, for example, an operator is stored into the prescribed region of the RAM 112, etc. Laser beam processing is executed by irradiating the work piece with a laser beam from a laser head 26 by as much as the stored number of the processing times for the stage of executing the laser beam processing of the frame movement data. Then, the laser beam processing is automatically repeated by the stored number of the processing times and, therefore, the processing, such as cutting and engraving, is surely executable regardless of thickness, material, etc., of the work piece. The laser beam processing is executed repetitively by the small output, by which the processing sections to be subjected to the cutting, engraving, etc., are cleanly finished. |
