PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-base ink composition which can give a drawn line not suffering from blotting and skipping and has improved drying resistance while suppressing the deterioration and change of the ink by mixing a colorant with water and serine. SOLUTION: This water-base ink composition is prepared by mixing 0.01-10.0wt.% serine with 0.1-40wt.% colorant comprising a dye or a pigment, 40-95wt.% water and optional additives such as an antibacterial, a pH controlling agent, an organic solvent, an anticorrosive and a lubricant. |
