<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monopulse radar system having the function of regularly executing a precise tracking process using angle error and frequency error without wastefully switching the pulse repetition period, and continuing a stable tracking in a target tracking mode using a transmitted wave having a pulse repetition frequency of 100kHz-300kHz by a radar using monopulse system. SOLUTION: The function of generating transmitted waves using two kinds of pulse repetition periods within one cycle of tracking process is added to an exciter 3. The function of calculating a target S/N ratio from the received signals by the two kinds of transmitted waves is added into a target detector 6, and the function of calculating angle error and frequency error is added into a tracking error detector 7. A tracking data selector 8a having the function of selecting the angle error and frequency error used for the tracking process according to the target S/N ratio is added into a data processor 8.</p> |
