PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial extracting method, a radical unit character recognizing method and a device capable of accurately dividing each character into radical units from information such as pen-up time for input, pen holding time and pen pressure by the use of on-line constitution. SOLUTION: A coordinate input device 1, a controller 2 being a device main body, a display device 4, and an external storage device 4 are provided, thereby accurately dividing a character into radical units and improving a character recognition rate. |
