<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fusion coupling generating no wire short defect to bend and short-circuit a part of a heating wire as if it is buckled, in an electric fusion process. SOLUTION: In an electric fusion coupling formed by burying a heating wire 3 to the inner periphery 5 of the socket of a coupling main body 1 which consists of a thermoplastic resin, the ratio of the contracted diameterϕd of the heating wire 3, and the winding center diameterϕD of the same heating wire 3, is made asϕd/ϕD=0.008 to 0.0115.</p> |
