PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make small the change in resistance value of a thermistor element even at a high temperature by a method wherein the thermistor element is housed in a metal heat resisting cap made of an alloy having Ni and Cr as the main component, and a lead wire, to be electrically connected to the thermistor element, is drawn out to outside the heat resisting cap. SOLUTION: Thermistor material is molded into a solid state form having two holes, a platinum wire 2 is inserted into the holes as an electrode, they are integrally sintered and a thermistor element 1 is obtained. Then, the platinum wire 2 and the lead wire 4 of a twin-core tube 3 are welded. A heat- resisting cap 5, which is mainly composed of Ni, Fe and Cr, is made to cover the thermistor element 1, they are welded by caulking, and a temperature sensor is obtained. As a result, the variation of resistance value is little even at a high tempperature of 1000 deg.C or higher, and a highly reliable temperature sensor, which is suitable for use at high temperature, is obtained. |
