MANUFACTURE OF INSULATING SPACER AND SHIELDING ELECTRODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve the electric field concentration on the boundary between an insulating member and a shielding electrode. SOLUTION: Shielding electrodes 12 and 13 which are made of plastic consisting of conductive or semiconductive epoxy composition are provided in the insulating member 11 of an insulating spacer at the positions of a container 2 side and a conductor 6 side or at the position of a container 2 side. The shielding electrodes 12 and 13 are so formed as to have their volume resistivities increased toward the center part between the container 2 and the conductor 6. With this constitution, the electric field concentration on the boundaries between the shielding electrodes 12 and 13 and the insulating member 11 can be relieved.
