SOLUTION: When an engine is operated, in a control device 20, first of all, the reference fuel injection starting timingθ(a crank angle) is determined from a map on the basis of a present necessary fuel injection quantity. Next, a difference TA between present throttle valve opening and fully opened throttle valve opening by an opening sensor 21 is calculated, and when this differenceΔTA is not 0, the timing is set as the actual fuel injection starting timingθa. On the other hand, at the engine transitional operation time when throttle valve opening changes, a correction quantityΔθis determined on the basis of the differenceΔTA, and a value by adding the correction quantityΔθto the timingθis set as the actual fuel injection starting timingθa, and therefore, the reference fuel injection timing is temporarily changed to the side to reduce a fuel quantity sticking in a combustion chamber at the fuel injection time.
