PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a speed change shock in a clutch-to-clutch speed change condition by an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: A speed change control device of an automatic transmission carries out the reduction control of the input torque, in case of a clutch-to-clutch speed change in which a second friction engaging device is engaged, as well as a first friction engaging device is released, and furthermore, it raises the hydraulic pressure of the first friction engaging device temporarily, at a specific timing after raising the hydraulic pressure of the second friction engaging device. And a means to detect the execution condition of the reduction control of the input torque, in case of the clutch-to-clutch speed change (Step 12), and a means to convert the content of the temporary pressure raising condition of the hydraulic pressure of the first friction engaging device, according to the execution condition of the reduction control of the detected input torque (Step 14 and 16), are provided. |
