PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve thermal efficiency and to effectively utilize energy. SOLUTION: External fluid to exert heat as temperature is changed and working gas are heat-exchanged with each other through an isobaric opposed flow heat-exchanger. The working fluid is circulated through three processes consisting of a heat exchange process (S1→S3 ), a heat adiabatic process (S3→S2 ), and an isothermal process (S2→S1 ), or three processes consisting of (S4→S3 ), (S3→S1 ), and (S1→S4 ), or three processes consisting of (S2→S3 ), (S3→S1 ), and (S1→S2 ), or three processes consisting of (S3→S4 ), (S4→S1 ), and (S1→S3 ).
